Relaxation is defined as the psychological condition that allows athletes to manage and minimize feelings related to anxiety (e.g. tension or anger) and physical symptoms (e.g. body tension and increased heart rate) during high pressure conditions.
Thanks to Focus Lab, the athlete can be cultivated to recognize and manage his/her reactions to stressful conditions of a game, making it feasible for him/her to enter a relaxation phase, in a fast, albeit controlled manner, while maintaining cognitive clarity.
By applying our method, i.e. biofeedback and coaching, it is possible to cultivate a sense of control that substantially enhances the prospects of optimal performance.
